The next Stitch n Kitch show is May 1st, 2010.
Stitch n Kitsch is not currently adding new members to the group but we are always interested in inviting guest artists for each show. From time to time, we invite past guest artists to become a member of the group. We will retain information on all past guest artists to reference when that time comes.
***We are currently accepting applicants for the May 2010 show. Below is the information relating to applying to Stitch n Kitsch as a guest artist. The deadline for applicants is March 19th, 2010 . We need to have received all of your materials by this time.
* It is best to apply AS SOON AS POSSIBLE as the shows fill up quickly!
How to Apply as a Guest Artist in an upcoming show:
The Stitch'n'Kitsch collective loves to see what other artisans and craftspeople are up to, and would love to have you apply to be in our next show! At each show we have a number of tables set aside to be filled with guest artists. Guest artists are chosen through an application process. As we always recieve more applications than available tables, we also maintain a waiting list. We do suggest that you check out the show if you haven't visited it already, so you know the style and feel of work we're looking for. Get your application in as soon as you can! We look forward to hearing from you.
Here's how to Apply:
1. Download the 2010 guest artist application form here: 2010 Guest Artist Application Form.pdf
2. Print out this application, follow the instructions and fill out the form.
3. Email guestartists@stitchnkitsch.com to advise that you would like to submit your application. Our guest artist liason will email you back with a mailing address which you can mail your application to.
4. Mail the application materials to the guest artist liason, Laura - she will discuss this with you when you contact guestartists@stitchnkitsch.com.
5. You will receive confirmation whether you are accepted to the show or not and if you will be considered for following shows.
